This is a critical role within the legal department, supporting cross-functional teams including sales, finance, and executive leadership. They are seeking someone who can confidently own most of the contracts review process—from drafting and redlining to negotiation and renewal—with minimal oversight. This is a great opportunity for a seasoned professional with a keen eye for detail and a proactive mindset who is looking for a long-term fit.
Compensation:
$35-$40/hour (based on experience) Temp-to-hire opportunity with great benefits upon conversion
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and edit customer contracts to align with internal policies and risk tolerance Manage the full contract lifecycle—from initial negotiation through execution and renewal Lead the implementation and integration of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software and internal tracking systems Conduct regular audits of the contract database for accuracy and completeness Provide monthly reporting on contract status and key metrics Develop and implement improved procedures for contract intake, processing, and tracking Support the sales team with contract-related needs before and after award Maintain organizational documentation including licenses, permits, insurance certificates, and related invoices
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing a high volume of contracts Demonstrated ability to draft and redline contract language independently Proficient in CLM tools and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, and Outlook) Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication Strong initiative, reliability, and attention to detail If you’re a contracts professional who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys taking ownership of your work, we want to hear from you.
