  • Position Summary
  • This role plays a key part in supporting administrative and contracting functions related to the Department of Defense (DoD) and requires a detail-oriented professional with deep knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Government Acquisition Lifecycle.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Develop, review, and manage procurement documentation in accordance with applicable laws and policies.

+ Support the acquisition lifecycle, including pre-award, award, and post-award contracting activities. + Process acquisition-related documentation and taskings in a timely and compliant manner. + Independently execute assigned work with minimal oversight, in coordination with Government and contractor leads. + Provide expert-level support in interpreting and applying contracting principles and regulations. + Potentially oversee and provide guidance to junior contracting staff. + Ensure compliance with all relevant Federal and DoD acquisition policies and procedures.

  • Required Qualifications
  • +
Experience:

Minimum of 8 years of DoD contracting support and management experience. +

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution. +

Certifications:
  • Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM)
  • DAWIA Contracting Level III (or equivalent)
  • Additional Requirements
  • + Demonstrated expertise with the FAR and DFARS.

+ Strong written and verbal communication skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. + Must be capable of working independently and collaborating with both Government and contractor personnel.
