Position Summary
Orlando Health is seeking a Grants and Contracts Analyst to join the team. This position is responsible for overseeing the progression of several grants/contracts while adhering to each grant/contract’s criteria which includes many different reimbursement methods, with widely varied documentation requirements. This position is also responsible for helping develop budgets and overseeing them for existing, multi-year grants/contracts as well as for up to 50 new grant applications annually for several HPC programs. Key Responsibilities Responsibilities include financial analysis and preparation of invoices and financial reports for grants and contracts
Oversee preparation of audit documentation on Federal and State awards for Single Audit
Responsible for budgets to funding agencies and operating budget for the HPC.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and Accounting is essential for this role in order to track all funding for our grants/contracts (up to 25 funders), assist with various analysis and budgets, and tracking fiscal expenses. Schedule

Responsibilities
Essential Functions
Responsible for financial analysis and preparing financial information as required by grants/contracts and as requested by Department Managers and Finance Manager as well as state and federal funders.
Implements and provides staff education and training, as well as updates, on finance policies and procedures to new and existing staff based on regulatory requirements.
Responsible for analyzing and tracking monthly expenditures to ensure proper allocation and to prepare reports and invoices for multiple funders and programs with different requirements.
Participate on special projects as assigned & provide budget and grant/contract information to Grant Manager for grant applications for new and existing funding.
Oversee the preparation of audit documents for Orlando Health auditors and State & Federal auditors.
Responsible for preparing monthly and annual financial reports and budget analysis.
Ensures compliance with contract and statutory requirements.

Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.

Communicates with all levels of management throughout Orlando Health.
Attends department meetings and in-services.
Qualifications
Education/Training
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related required.
Licensure/Certification
None.
Experience
Two (2) years of directly work experience.
