Palm Beach Gardens Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, driven Proposal Manager to lead our government and utility project bidding efforts. This role is responsible for identifying, managing, and submitting high-quality, compliant proposals for transformer systems, low and medium voltage switchgear, and containerized substations. The ideal candidate has experience in public sector bidding, understands technical product documentation, and can coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver winning proposals on time. ________________________________________

Key Responsibilities:

Bid Monitoring & Capture o Monitor BidPrime, SAM.gov, and state/local portals for relevant RFPs, RFQs, and ITBs. Develop a bid/no-bid evaluation process based on product fit, compliance, and margin. Proposal Management o Lead the development and submission of proposals for electrical distribution equipment. Work with internal teams (engineering, operations, estimating, and legal) to gather required documents, specifications, and pricing. oManage deadlines, forms, narratives, certifications, and attachments. Technical Writing & Compliance o Draft and revise technical narratives, capability statements, and past performance summaries. Ensure proposals meet UL, IEEE, and Buy America standards where applicable. oMaintain master templates for commonly required documents (e.g., ISO, OSHA, W-9, bonding). Process Development o Build and manage a proposal calendar and CRM tracking system (Salesforce preferred). Maintain a library of past proposals, boilerplate content, and graphics. oContinuously improve proposal processes for speed and quality. Stakeholder Communication o Serve as the point of contact with government procurement officers when necessary. Coordinate internal kickoff and review meetings for major proposals. Provide executive-level updates on proposal status and performance KPIs. ________________________________________

Qualifications:

Experience:

o 5+ years in proposal management, ideally in government contracting or industrial equipment. Experience responding to RFPs, ITBs, or RFQs in construction, manufacturing, or energy sectors.

Skills:

o Strong writing, editing, and document formatting skills. Excellent project management and deadline discipline. oFamiliarity with BidPrime, SAM.gov, and state procurement systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe PDF, and CRM tools (Salesforce a plus).

Knowledge:

o Understanding of electrical systems and/or transformer/switchgear components is preferred. Familiarity with UL standards, IEEE specifications, and federal procurement language. ________________________________________
