This position works directly with multiple insurance carriers by submitting all required paperwork, following up to ensure contracting writing numbers are received in a reasonable timeframe and staying updated on current carrier forms, processes and procedures. No certifications or licenses are needed for this position. Duties and Responsibilities 40% Process advisor contracts for all lines of business – Annuity, Life, and LTC. Thoroughly review contracts for accuracy and completion. Enter, update and maintain all necessary data in the CRM system, which includes electronic document processing. Work with advisors directly, insurance carriers, and our internal sales team to satisfy missing requirements for completed contracts. 50% Schedule and perform follow up calls to insurance carriers to gain timely appointment approvals for all advisors. Submit missing requirements to carriers as needed. Make clear, concise, and detailed notes within CRM (writing numbers, effective dates, state appointment status, etc.). Regularly correspond with insurance carriers to ensure all licensing forms are up to date and accessible to internal staff. 10% Send address changes, renewed licenses/E&O policies, training certificates, and EFT updates for all advisors to insurance carriers and perform follow up calls with the carriers until confirmed complete. Transfer data (termination notices, transfers, etc.) into the CRM from carrier mail and email. Requirements Must be able to make appropriate and thoughtful decisions when assessing customer needs, assess urgency based on the situation, and understand alternatives and the best course of action. Possess problem-solving mentality while valuing relationships with agents. Ability to work well with a team and independently. Ability to use interpersonal skills to maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and outside partners. Exceptional time management skills and the ability to consistently meet and exceed deadlines with a high attention to detail in a very fast-paced environment Excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be a person of integrity and value upholding industry regulations, company ethics, and privacy policies. Knowledge of PC usage, while operating within several company systems and applications. Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel). HubSpot experience preferred but not required.
