The role you’ll contribute:
The Contract Performance Specialist position focuses specifically on the management of the Fee for Service Contract Operations for the Primary Health Division. The Contract Performance Specialist will partner with a number of internal departments at AdventHealth, including Managed Care, Contracting, Data Management, regional MSOs (Management Services Organization) and payor partners to execute daily activities. The team members daily activities will include continual provider roster cleanup and alignment, patient roster cleanup and alignment, and panel management upon movement of providers to a new location or termination of provider. The team member will attend FFS payor meetings and collect and disburse educational material, program changes, and other updates from the payors to the Outreach teams, the Quality teams, and leadership as appropriate.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
Assist in driving FFS contract performance through ensuring provider movement is entered timely in all systems.
- Assist in the identification of P4P financial opportunities for multiple payors.
- Liaisons with multiple internal departments to ensure monthly roster submissions to FFS payors are reviewed, corrected, and updated in all systems.
- Attends FFS payor meetings and collects collateral and contract terms and conditions for disbursement to providers and practices through the Outreach team.
- Assists in the creation and updates FFS contract “one-pagers” for leadership review.
- Responsible for panel management upon movements of providers to new location(s) or termination of provider.
- Assists in identifying and working to have patient panels either opened or closed. Collaborates with practices to shift patients to remaining providers, as appropriate.
- Assists with creation of educational material to educate internal and external stakeholders on terms and conditions of contracts that change over time.
- Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.
The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed :
Minimum qualifications:
Associates’ degree in a health-related field or 2 years’ experience in healthcare, medical practice or medical operations.
Experience with electronic health records and/or health information/population health systems and analytics
Basic understanding of medical terminology
Preferred qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field
Experience with population health improvement programs
