JOB DESCRIPTION

Implements new contracts, amendments, and business process modifications. Serves as liaison for assigned Emory Healthcare Network private practice physicians and and contracted organizations. Manages relationships with assigned managed care organizations including monitoring contract performance, compliance and maintenance. Resolves operational issues to maximize contract performance/revenue. Responsible for engaging with physicians and office staff and coordinating the enrollment process with credentialing. Strong written and oral communication skills are necessary. Experience with physician office revenue cycle and working with managed care payors is required. This is a remote position based in the Macon / Warner Robbins area, but reports to the Atlanta area. Minimum travel to the metro Atlanta area is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Three years of healthcare experience, preferably in managed care. Knowledge of various personal computer software packages including word processing, spreadsheet and/or database management applications.
