Job Description

Energy, Environmental and Infrastructure Associate, US Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, a top Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly motivated, exceptionally qualified associate (at least three to seven years of experience) to join its nationally recognized Energy, Environmntal and Infrastructure practice in one of our US offices. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
Experience in a sophisticated law firm environment managing complex energy and natural resources transactional work (M&A, project development and commercial agreements)
Experience with renewable energy transactional work (M&A, joint ventures, build-transfer agreements, commercial agreements such as PPAs, O&M Agreements, Shared Facilities Agreements, and procurement contracts for equipment and materials) Experience with engineering, procurement and construction contracts for renewable energy generating facilities is advantageous but not a requirement
Experience with financing transactions in the energy and natural resources sector is advantageous but not a requirement
Experience in oil and gas is plus, but not a requirement
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility.

At the time of posting, the estimated Illinois range is $215,000 to $290,000. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the level of relevant experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, market data, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
