Position Summary
•This is a temporary position that requires 3 days in office•.
The primary function of this position is to support data integrity. This is a 6-month position with the option to extend, as needed. The database administrator/coordinator is responsible for identifying and correcting errors, inconsistencies, and duplicates within our SAP customer asset installed base, ensuring data quality, handling missing values, and validating information to produce reliable data for analysis and decision-making within our organization. The Installed Base Administrator will work closely with internal teams, such as contracts teams, sales admin teams and marketing.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Meticulous and detail-oriented data specialist to support data cleanliness in SAP.
Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure data accuracy.
Identify data quality issues, including duplicates, incomplete records, and inconsistencies.
Clean, standardize and maintain high-quality data related to accounts and assets, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems (SAP & SFDC)
Validate with internal teams and customers’ assets accurately (Marketing, Sales Admin, Contracts and Sales)
Review and consolidate customers group hierarchy, site information, and asset list including software, equipment, and contracts information.
Implement and document data governance policies, ensuring compliance with internal standards.
Monitor data quality metrics and generate reports on data health and progress made to company management.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as computer science, statistics, mathematics, or data analytics, which provides the necessary foundation in data manipulation.
Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is an advantage.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Working knowledge of Microsoft office Familiarity with data cleaning methodologies
Mastering Excel, and data visualization for data analysis
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with different teams.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to document processes clearly.
Extremely detailed oriented, collaborator, good communicator
Ability to prioritize and work under tight deadlines.
Fast learner, able to master new concepts, theories, ideas, and processes with ease.
Knowledge of SAP and Salesforce is an advantage.
