Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a relatedfield. 7+ years of experience in proposal management, bid strategy, orgovernment procurement. Previous management experience.

Job SummaryLead a team inevaluating opportunities, developing strategies, and responding tobids and RFPs from diverse customer segments, includingmulti-family, hospitality, healthcare, and government agencies.

Leverage expertise in procurement processes, analytics, and processimprovement while mentoring a high-performing team to deliverstrategic, high-quality bid responses in a deadline-drivenenvironment.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Establish and oversee the structure for reviewing andresponding to RFPs and bids, ensuring alignment with strategicgoals, feasibility, and compliance with company objectives andgovernment regulations. Lead two teams, including proposal managers, bid analysts, andproposal specialists, by providing strategic direction, fosteringcollaboration, and driving accountability and professionaldevelopment. Develop and implement processes to ensure all RFP and bidsubmissions comply with government requirements, regulations, andinternal policies while mitigating risks. Leverage analytics to evaluate bid outcomes, track win/losstrends, and assess publicly available data to refine strategies andinform decision-making. Provide strategic recommendations to leadership on RFPprioritization and process optimization to improve bid successrates and overall organizational performance. Cultivate and maintain strong cross-functional relationshipswith teams such as pricing, finance, legal, and sales to ensure aseamless and efficient RFP process. Drive operational excellence through continuous processimprovements, incorporating technology and automation to enhanceefficiency and effectiveness. Serve as a subject matter expert on procurement laws, policies,and regulations, offering guidance to ensure compliance andstrategic alignment.

Nature and Scope Solutions require analysis and investigation. Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based onprofessional methods, business principles, and practicalexperience. May recommend/make decisions regarding newprograms/initiatives that have significant impact to the businessand carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors. Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through directionof subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.

Work Environment Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditionswould be infrequent and not objectionable. Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position andthere is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasionsthere may be a need to move or lift light articles. No travel required.

Education and Experience Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+years of experience in a related field. May require certification.

Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
