Summary:
The Grants and Contract Administrator is responsible for (1) providing day-to-day administration of Southeast Georgia Health System’s (the “Health System’s”) grants; (2) overseeing and managing the Health System’s contract management system; (3) overseeing the Health System’s process to become an Accreditation Council on Graduate Medical Education (“ACGME”) accredited residency program; and (4) assisting on applications for new grant opportunities. Service Excellence:
All team members of Southeast Georgia Health System will promote service excellence by developing and maintaining positive relationships with customers, other team members, and the medical staff and will ensure the highest quality of care by performing their responsibilities according to the highest professional standards. Essential Responsibilities Serve as the day-to-day administrator on all Health System awarded grants in collaboration with the General Counsel, Chief Financial Officer and other Health System leaders. Assist with pre-award grant preparation of new submissions, progress reports and related materials. Assist with preparing detailed budgets and justifications as well as gathering administrative documents from all personnel included on the proposal and prepare detailed budgets and justifications on all administrative duties. Monitor regulatory and compliance requirements for all awarded grants, keeping detailed files and a tracking mechanism for all items due. Monitor post-award activities to ensure adherence to relevant guidelines. Independently oversee the flow of new contracts through the Health System’s contract management system. Prepare and finalize contracts for signature and organize contracts in the Health System’s management system along with other relevant files. Under the guidance of the Legal Department, draft and revise certain contractual provisions to align with Health System requirements. Train Health System leaders on an as-needed basis on using contract management software. With assistance from Health System leadership and consultants, as necessary, prepare a work plan to implement a residency program at SGHS beginning July 1, 2025. As part of this work, become an expert on the accreditation process and the steps necessary for the successful implementation of a graduate medical education program. Under the direction of Health System leadership, perform the day-to-day work contemplated by the New Program Feasibility Agreement (“Feasibility Agreement”) between the Health System and the Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce of the State of Georgia, including financial and operational analysis of implementing a graduate medical education program. Prepare the initial drafts of the reports contemplated in the Feasibility Agreement. Shephard the Health System’s application to the ACGME to gain approval of a residency program. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education :
Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree preferred
Experience :
Three (3) years of experience in grant writing, contract management, and/or graduate medical education administration OR Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration.
Licensure :
