In this role will offer you the following daily key responsibilities:
First line leader responsible for the supporting program and supply chain leadership in establishing strategies to minimize program risk related to proposal development, program start up and execution, and subcontract close out. Manages a team of supply chain professionals to execute daily tasks to liantly meet or exceed program and business goals, and ensure mission success. Has a strong understanding of the FAR and LMAP and supporting FAR 15 liant proposals and issuing subsequent subcontracts and subcontract amendments post-award. Works closely with program management office and functional support organizations to properly plan and execute daily business duties.
Although this position does support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near one of our Lockheed Martin Space facilities in either:

  • Denver, CO ,
  • King of Prussia/Valley Forge, PA ,
    or
  • Herndon, Va ,
    and be expected to work in the office as needed and as appropriate.
    Desired skills
    To be effective, ideally, you should also have:
  • Ability to perform at a high level in a high pressure environment.
  • 8+ years of professional experience.
  • Strong desire to develop and implement
    strategic initiatives and drive the team to
    execute.
  • Prior professional experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals
    including, processes, procedures, policies,
    systems, and overall understanding of
    subcontracts, and acquisition procedures.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations
    (FAR) and contracting types.
  • In-depth knowledge of all types of contracts
    and how to utilize which type in various program
    scenarios.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-
    solving skills, with an ability to manage and
    prioritize multiple tasks and changes in
    deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team
    environment and work well under pressure.
  • Experienced presenter to Program
    Management, internal stakeholders, and
    Customer representative.
  • Ability to drive actions and results/resolution of
    contractual/technical issues and successful
    outs through teamwork.
  • Implement continuous improvement leading to
    improved team and supplier performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
    with internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen with a proven record
    of successful performance with focus on mission
    success, with demonstrated strong interpersonal
    skills.
  • Demonstrated skills to drive culture change
    supporting enterprise initiatives (e.g. digital
    transformation, shift to “we vs. me” behaviors)
  • Must be able to resolve lex problems in a
    fast-paced environment.
  • Strong unication skills with ability to
    interface with all levels of management.
  • Ability to be flexible and accept change.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $104,500 – $184,115. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
