Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Manages 80+ warranty and guarantee claims across multiple Suppliers from creation to completion with foundational purpose of using claims to drive Supplier performance and accountability
- Analyzes and interprets complex data sets and attends meetings to create claims, solicits internal stakeholder feedback to ensure full contractual entitlement capture, uses correct external process for claim filing with each Supplier
- Files quarterly guarantee claims (Late Spares, Late Repairs, etc) with assigned Suppliers with superior understanding of contract administration and strategies; strategically prioritizes and leverages Co./ Supplier relationship in regards to claim negotiations
- Builds and fosters relationships with Engineering departments, Materials groups, and production shops across TechOps to identify part failures and reliability issues
- Becomes adept at warranty strategy to allow for innovative and insightful approach to claim negotiations to maximize claim value reconciliation within a constrained work environment
- Develops strong internal relationships with Sourcing Managers in Supply Chain to understand and execute on claiming contract entitlements
- Develops strong external (Supplier and Aircraft Manufacturer) relationships to enhance ability to negotiate both contractual and concessionary claim settlements
- Proactively collaborates with and supports Repair Warranty; supports developing improvements to the efficiency, productivity, and performance of internal warranty processes
