Position Summary:

6-12 Month Contract/Temporary Position – Part-Time less than 30 hours. We are looking for a skilled Contracts Manager to oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of contracts for engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering services, project delivery models, and risk management. This role is critical in ensuring that all contractual obligations are met while protecting the company’s commercial and legal interests.

Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including engineering services agreements, subcontracts, consultancy agreements, and procurement contracts. Support project teams during the bidding, execution, and close-out phases of engineering projects. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies. Maintain a centralized contract database and monitor key dates such as milestones, renewals, and deliverables. Collaborate with legal, engineering, procurement, and finance teams to align contract terms with project and business goals. Provide training and guidance to project managers and engineers on contract terms and compliance. Support claims management and dispute resolution processes when necessary.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in contract management, preferably in an engineering or construction environment. Familiarity with standard forms of contracts (e.g., FIDIC, NEC, AIA). Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large-scale infrastructure or industrial engineering projects. Certification in contract management (e.g., IACCM/World

CC, NCMA

). Working knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.

Pay Range:

USD $62.50 – USD $67.31 /Hr.
