This position requires the ability to multitask, as well as excellent telephone, typing and organizational skills. Maintaining confidentiality is essential.
Claims Administrator:
The Claims Administrator will contact medical providers and insurance companies to advocate for and assist our clients in resolving questionable bills as well as assist with grievances and appeals of denied claims. The claims administrator will also serve as back up to the receptionist to answer the telephone, greet clients, schedule appointments, maintain files, and process mailings. The Claims Administrator is also cross-trained to back up the Medicare Assistant when necessary. This position is 40 hours per week in office. Experience is not necessary.
