Beacon Hill’s client, a well-known accounting firm is searching for a temporary Contracts Administrator with Federal Contracts experience specifically in

FARS/DFARS

contracts.

Remote, but candidates must be open to working EST or CT hours

Job Description:
Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts, including vendor agreements, client contracts, service agreements, and non-disclosure agreements
Experience with government contracts specifically in

FARS/DFARS

contracts
Ensure contracts align with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as internal policies and guidelines
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as legal counsel, sales, and procurement teams, to gather necessary information and ensure contract terms meet business objectives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation
Monitor contract performance and compliance, including tracking key milestones, deliverables, and obligations
Identify and address any contract-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
Assist in resolving contract disputes or conflicts, if they arise
Coordinate with external parties, such as vendors or clients, to obtain necessary approvals and signatures
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal developments related to contract management
Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment.

Qualifications:

Must have experience and be familiar with government contracts. Must be skilled with data entry.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field
Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator, Contract Specialist, or similar role
Strong understanding of contract law and legal terminology
Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors or inconsistencies in contracts
Proficient in contract management software and tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple contracts simultaneously
Familiarity with different types of contracts and their specific requirements (e.g., procurement contracts, service agreements, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
