INDUSTRIAL SPECIALIST
(AIRCRAFT)
Cherry Point, NC Position Description You will serve as a Industrial Specialist (Aircraft) in the FST Engineering Division of
FLTREADCEN EAST.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
You will perform reviews of individual items for flight criticality and vendor source approval, and analysis of contractual requirements and applicable technical data/directives to assure latest design configuration.
You will perform contractual compliance inspections at vendor facilities and provide technical assistance/guidance to vendors on intricate manufacturing/repair and contract processing.
You will be responsible for the technical review and analytical study of Naval Supply Weapons System Support Philadelphia and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) procurement/repair contract deliverables for contractual compliance.
You will coordinate, access, download, process, and submit the Defense Logistics Agency requests for engineering support via the DLA data system and local task management system.
You will conduct critical safety item manufacturing process training for all engineering platforms located at Marine Corps Air Station, Cherry Point, North Carolina.
You will develop detailed inspection packages based on contractual requirements.
