Compensation and Benefits:
Hiring Salary Range :
$55,456. – $63,379 .
Full Salary Range :

About the Role As a Water Resources Contracts Specialist , you’ll serve as a key internal partner across departments, managing critical administrative processes to ensure smooth operations and full regulatory compliance. If you’re someone who enjoys juggling tasks, solving problems, and working independently while keeping things organized and running like clockwork — this role is for you. Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Contract Management:
Oversee the full contract lifecycle from solicitation and routing to tracking payments and maintaining records. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and legal standards.
Regulatory Compliance:
Coordinate and submit formal reports to state agencies. Maintain up-to-date permit data, address fines, and ensure files are accurate and complete.
Budgeting & Procurement:
Manage requisitions, process payments, reconcile annual orders, and assist vendors. Support travel/training requests and help ensure proper allocation of financial resources.
Operational Support:
Handle a variety of internal needs including office inventory, furniture and signage requests, vehicle coordination, MWBE program assistance, and more.
Team Engagement:
Contribute to departmental events, serve on committees, and help make the workplace more connected and efficient. The job is

under FLSA.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years of experience in a high-volume deadline-driven administrative role Or Associate degree with 3-5+ years of experience in a high volume deadline-driven administrative role Or a High School Diploma with 11+ years of experience in a high-volume deadline-driven administrative role 2+ years experience using Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver’s license Excellent written and verbal communication Excellent organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline 2+ years experience working in a government role in a similar position 1+ years experience with the administration of contracts Experience with Infor CloudSuite
