David Allen Company is seeking a highly organized and proactive Pre-Construction Administrative Assistant to join our team in Raleigh, NC. This role will provide essential clerical and administrative support to our estimating team, helping ensure smooth project coordination and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Enter project data into internal databases with accuracy and attention to detail Download and organize electronic project files for estimators Answer phones professionally and efficiently, directing calls as needed Order and manage office supplies for the department as required Support team initiatives such as co-worker appreciation (e.g., ordering flowers, sending cards) Collaborate closely with estimators to track bid invitations and submissions
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree and prior experience in an administrative support role Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time management abilities High attention to detail and a proactive work ethic Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in the construction industry Familiarity with CRM platforms and construction management tools such as
