Job Summary:
Senior Manager, Contracts & Rebates:

Works closely with ContractStrategy to ensure all payer and SP agreements are administeredaccurately within SAP and Sun’s Revenue Management System. Sr.

Manager will manage a team that works closely with finance,accounts payable, contract administration, Pricing & ContractAnalytics and Contract Strategy to ensure rebates and chargebacksare accrued, analyzed, processed and paid timely. Works directlywith customers to resolve discrepancies with payer invoices andother assigned accounts.

Responsibilities:
  • As the Senior Manager,Contracts and Rebates, you will be an integral member of the SunOperations team that negotiates, evaluates, processes and executessales contracts for U.S. markets.
  • Develop and lead all efforts tomaintain contract parameters in Sun’s revenue management system,including customer plan to formulary assignments, products, rebaterates, rebate value, performance tiers and eligibility.
  • This is asupervisory position with direct reports; therefore, this positionwill establish goals and objectives and prepare performanceappraisals for direct reports.
  • Manager will also coach and mentordirect reports as needed.
  • Manager will monitor and review thework product of all direct reports.
  • Review proposed changes tocontract terms and provide feedback to the Contract Strategy teamas needed.
  • Provide trends to management on a regular basis toprovide visibility as to the status, volume, and potentialliability of future rebates, disputes, fees, and payments.
  • Develop SOPs and user guides, and expand/update existingdocumentation as needed.
  • Work with Sun IT on needs to improvesystem and/or User understanding of system.
  • Implement, supportand interpret all Market Access commercial contracts acrossBusiness Units.
  • Support organization during high demand auditcycles and quarterly reporting as needed.
  • Collaborates with UScommercial functions to ensure business objectives are metincluding Finance/Controlling, Market Access, Marketing, Pricing &Contract Analytics, Gov’t Pricing and IT.
Qualifications:
  • BADegree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis orequivalent work experience in a similar position.
  • 8 yearsprevious work experience managing rebates, chargebacks and/orFinancial Planning and Analysis required.
  • Skilled at coaching anddevelopment of a team in a related field.
  • Prior experience withan ERP System (JD Edwards, SAP, NetSuite).
  • Prior experienceprocessing one or more of the following: Managed Care rebates,Medicaid claims, government and/or wholesaler fees within apharmaceutical company.
  • Knowledge and experience in interpretingcommercial and government contracts.
  • Prior PharmaceuticalExperience is required.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge ofContract Management Systems, such as Vistex (or other comparablesystem such as Model N, CARS, imany, icontracts or Revitas isrequired).
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Track record of developing and providing data analyses andreporting
  • Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with an emphasis ontime management and follow through skills.
  • Effective communicatorand possess well-developed strong organizational skills.
  • Broadknowledge of multiple functional areas including Market Access,Finance and Brand Marketing and able to work collaboratively withthese functions to drive results.
  • Exhibit ability to successfullyhandle multiple projects at once.
  • Prior role as a Business Userin the implementation of a Contract Management System is a plus.

Actual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors,including but not limited to geographical location and experience.

In addition, this position is part of the Annual Performance BonusPlan.
