Contracts Manager 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 1818 Albion Street, Nashville, TN 37208 Nashville General Hospital is hiring a Contracts Manager position. Nashville General Hospital is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contracts Manager to oversee the development, negotiation, execution, and management of a wide range of commercial and government contracts. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of contract law, exceptional negotiation skills, and a strategic mindset to minimize risk and ensure compliance across all contractual obligations. The Contracts Manager will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with current policies and procedures and minimizing contractual risk.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate contracts (BAAs, NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, PEAs, leases, procurement, and government agreements) Manage the full contract lifecycle: creation, renewal, modification, and termination Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, healthcare laws, and internal policies Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies Collaborate with legal, finance, procurement, and operations teams Maintain contract databases (e.g., Intelligent Contracts) and policy systems (PolicyStat) Support managed care contracting (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Value-Based) Assist with audits, RFPs/RFQs, and documentation Mentor junior staff and ensure accurate data entry

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in business, Law, or related field (JD preferred) 7-10 years of healthcare or hospital contract management experience Strong knowledge of contract law, FAR/DFARS, and compliance standards Proficiency in contract tools and Microsoft Office Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills Self-motivated with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities

Preferred Certifications:
