The contract portfolio includes:

Equity Board Portfolio Management:
Manage, maintain and improve the performance of the contract portfolio, both operationally and financially. Portfolio includes critical and highly committed sourcing types that require extensive implementation and/or conversions. Construct and manage simple contract amendments with supplier. Address product additions, deletions and changes during contract term. Be the liaison between sourcing, account mgmt, and customer service. Understand supplier new product offerings and collaborate with advisory board lead and business unit leader to assess products. Develop contract launch materials and ensure all contract materials are maintained accurately in HealthTrust systems. Oversee contract implementation with supplier and communication of contract implementation to HealthTrust account management.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
Including but not limited to:
resolving customer issues (pricing, locs, product complaints, etc.) Oversee product recall communications. Assist account management with members (materials mgmt, end-users, and senior executives).
Portfolio Promotion:
Develop strategies and tactics to promote contract portfolio. Marketing/promotional opportunities Contract Launch / Contract Lunch-and-Learns Newsletters, bulletins, and other communication tactics.
Sourcing Process Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of sourcing process (market research, development of strategies and requirements, engagement with the boards, contract awards).
Portfolio Improvement:
Ability to recognize additional cost saving opportunities or new product category coverage opportunities and elevate opportunities to department leader. Assess market and supplier dynamics to determine possible sourcing strategies for contract renewals. Collaborate with contract negotiator on strategy development as contract bid cycle begins.
Collaboration:
Collaboration will include: legal staff on development and finalization of simple amendments contract analysts on product/price loading of amendments communications team on contract launch/implementation account management in their member-facing duties related to the portfolio sourcing team as contracts transition to bid cycle board leads to resolve member reported product quality issues
Supplier Relationship Management:
Manage and maintain vendor relationships. Conduct supplier business reviews Scorecard supplier performance Build collaborative working relationships
Supplier Knowledge:
Individual must know and be able to use knowledge about supplier to develop strategies, create leverage, mitigate risks, anticipate direction of the market and potential supplier direction. interpretation of Supplier SEC filings, annual reports, or analyst reports discussion of future product pipelines with suppliers and customers occasional site-visits to supplier/provider to review current or future technology investigation of new supplier entrants to market
Contract Compliance:
Report contract compliance issues to supervisor and account management. Assist account management with conversations that may be required with member (materials mgmt, end-users, and senior executives. Proactively monitor member contract compliance to the assigned portfolio. Report on contract conversion activity for key initiatives to Supply Chain Board and Equity Board.
Policies & Procedures:
Maintain timely achievement of all assigned initiatives ensuring activities adhere to all established policies and procedures and standards of business conduct.
Change Management:
Act as a champion for business process change, organizational change, and cultural change. May include leading process improvement or training initiatives.
Guidance:
Ability to fulfill responsibilities with minimal oversight. Receives guidance from senior/executive leaders. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree RN with OR experience 5-7 years of relevant work experience: contract/portfolio management, overseeing supplier relationship, account management involving implementation or support related to a contract portfolio Expert communicator Strong analytical skills with the ability to create or interpret potentially complex financial models. Proficiency using MS Office Products Excellent oral, written communication skills & presentation skills.
