Summary:
Shoals is hiring a Contracts Manager to join our Legal Team. This role report to our Corporate Counsel and will be responsible for Contract Administration, Contract Negotiation, Contract Drafting, Risk Management, Compliance and Continuous Improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Contract Administration:
Develop, review, and manage contracts and purchase orders to ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate contract terms with suppliers, subcontractors, and customers to ensure compliance with company policies.
Contract Drafting:
Draft comprehensive contract documents and review proposed redlines received from customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
Risk Management:
Identify contractual risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure legal and financial stability.
Compliance:
Ensure that all contractual activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of contract management activities.
Resource Allocation:
Collaborate with project managers to allocate resources efficiently and effectively.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Contract Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field. Professional certification in contract management (e.g., CPCM, CFCM), paralegal certificate, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in contract management
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, keen attention to detail, proficiency with contract management software, and outstanding communication and teamwork skills
Expertise:
In-depth understanding of contract management principles, financial analysis, and reporting. An advantage would be familiarity with industry-specific regulations and standards.
