Interim HR Contracts and Empoyment Counsel (Healthcare Preferred) 4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars Franklin, TN Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group is seeking an Interim HR Contracts and Employment Counsel to assist our client with a backlog of contracts generated by its HR department’s dealing with outside vendors and to provide some general advice and counsel to its frontline HR managers.
Overview :
Our client is seeking an experienced HR Contracts and Employment Counsel to join its in-house L&E team. This role involves providing legal support for HR-related contracts, employment issues, and general commercial contracts.

Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in employment law and contracting specific to contracts generated by HR departments working with outside vendors (not employment or physician services agreements), with a preference for candidates who have healthcare industry experience.
Location:
Remote for eastern, central and mountain US time zones.
Responsibilities Include:
Review, and redline various HR-related contracts, including group health plan administration, substance testing, staffing contracts, cloud arrangements, etc. Provide general advice and counsel on employment law matters, including ADA issues and EEOC charges. Assist HR managers with the interactive process for ADA accommodations and other employment-related issues. Develop and implement efficient contracting processes and templates to streamline contract review and approval. Collaborate with HR and other internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Qualifications Include:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in employment law and contracting with significant experience related to contracts generated by HR working with outside vendors. Strong understanding of ADA, EEOC, and general employment law principles. Proven ability to manage a high volume of contracts and provide timely legal support. Highly responsive. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with HR and other internal stakeholders. Healthcare industry experience is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. JD from ABA accredited school and active license in at least 1 US jurisdiction.
Pay:
