Role:
We are looking for a fast-moving, hands-on EDI Integration Specialist to accelerate and stabilize EDI connections with key North American retail partners (REI, MEC, Backcountry). The ideal candidate is execution-driven, works independently, and can quickly translate requirements into results. You’ll collaborate closely with our business teams in Vermont and our global IT to ensure fast, automated, and accurate order processing into Microsoft Dynamics 365. This is an on-site contract role with a high pace and immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Gather and align EDI requirements with business teams and retail partners Facilitate and manage EDI transaction flows (PO, ASN, invoice) Serve as a liaison between local operations, global IT, and customers Lead EDI testing, troubleshooting, and validation Ensure proper data mapping and integration into Microsoft D365 Develope and track project milestones and proactively communicate status, blockers, and next steps Provide regular progress updates to internal stakeholders (local and global) Document the setup and support the handover to steady-state operations
Qualifications:
Solid hands-on experience with EDI integrations, ideally in a retail/wholesale environment Strong communication skills and solution-oriented mindset Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Familiarity with EDI middleware platforms (e.g. Lobster, SPS, etc.) is a plus Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented approach Must be available to work on-site in Burlington /
