Arthrex is actively searching for a strategic, results driven Sr. Director of Vet Systems to join the leadership team. The successful candidate will work alongside a department of expert orthopedic healthcare professionals, world class faculty, and product management.
Main Objective:
The Sr. Director of Vet Systems will drive key initiatives that align with organizational goals, guide teams toward excellence, and foster an environment of synergy and innovation. Additionally, heavy focus will include consulting and collaborating with Veterinary Medical Education. Your expertise should be instrumental in shaping our vision and executing the Arthrex Mission in Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth and operational efficiency.
Collaborate with executive leadership to define and prioritize key business objectives, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy
Facilitate regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster team development and accountability
Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and identify new growth opportunities
Champion a culture of data-driven decision making by leveraging analytics and insights to guide team initiatives
Act as a mentor to team members, promoting professional development and encouraging innovative thinking.
Negotiate high level contracts and agreements with new and existing partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
Help team establish value-based programs and contracts with universities, accounts, and large corporations.
Consult on the planning and execution of workshops, surgical labs, webinars, and continuing education events, both in-person and virtual.
Collaborate and consult with Medical Education to assist in training with HCP customers and Arthrex staff.
Develop comprehensive training for all Sales staff and facilitate a culture of continuous learning and growth
Engage in continuing education to ensure Arthrex is staying up to date with the latest advances in the industry
Track and report metrics, providing regular updates to senior management.
Travel for speaking, education, and business negotiations.
Travel up to 30%
Education and Experience:
MBA required
DVM required
10 years related experience and/or training required Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or
Training:
Ability to effectively coordinate activities with other departments. Machine, Tools, and/or
Equipment Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite.
