PROGRAM MANAGER OF ADOLESCENT SERVICES POSITION OBJECTIVES
Coordinate with the Director of Adolescent Services and other administrators and staff to ensure medical and clinical needs of patients are met in a timely manner. Responsible for managing department within policy, procedure and budgetary guidelines. May be scheduled to work in a variety of substance abuse treatment programs that provide services to adolescents in residential or outpatient settings with staff who perform assessment, intervention, prevention, individual and group therapy.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Ensure quality internal and external customer care and service 2. Schedule adequate staff coverage consistently. 1. Review assigned client charts for compliance with CARF, 65D-30, and funding source requirements. 2. Maintain adequate clinical and medical inventories within budget. 3. Provide direct clinical services as needed. 4. Provide performance evaluations and supervision of staff. 5. Provide technical assistance to clinical and medical staff. 6. Be an active member of the treatment team. 7. Maintain program quality and consistency within Local, State, and Federal guidelines. 8. Ensure proper care of facility and equipment. 9. Deliver all cash payments to the accounting department in a timely manner. 10. Review all monthly statistical reports for errors and omissions. 11. Review, correct, and submit all bi-weekly time sheets. 12. Conduct in-service training as appropriate. 13. Liaison with the juvenile justice system, as well as outside medical and clinical agencies. 14. Serve on agency committees as required. 15. Perform special projects and other Agency-related assignments as requested.
EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS 1.
Must be eligible through DCF and AHCA with Level II Background checks throughout employment. 2. Must abide by the organization’s code of conduct, policy and procedures, and state certification/licensure board code of ethics. 3. Must complete all required in person and Relias trainings assigned during the probationary period and throughout employment. 5. Timely and regularly complete all required documentation, reports, and other organization-related paperwork. 7. Must be able to perform assigned work independently with minimal supervision and make decisions using appropriate judgment. 8. Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition, ensuring safe operating conditions. 9. Must be able to take direction and guidance respectfully from Leadership and Executive staff and function as an effective team member. 10. Must have the ability to comply with a workplace of dignity and respect.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE.CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE
Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years’ experience working with adolescents with substance use disorders. A Master’s Degree may be substituted for two years’ experience. Provide copy(s) of transcript(s) Provide copy(s) of diploma(s) Provide copy(s) of certification/licensure(s) Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record to meet standards for the organization’s insurance requirements. SKILLS Ability to communicate in English and to read and understand written English at the High School level. Ability to recognize and respond to emergencies and life threatening situations in an appropriate manner. Strong customer service and organizational skills. Some facility maintenance. Ability to relate and present to groups. Ability to relate to adolescents, adults, families, referrals sources and internal.
