The ideal candidate will be an organized and motivated self-starter with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. The Acquisitions Analyst offers the opportunity to gain a wide breadth of experience in real estate acquisitions, with a focus on multifamily development opportunities. The Acquisitions Analyst will be involved in all facets of deal acquisition from start to finish including underwriting, due diligence, market and competitive comp analysis, capitalization, and predevelopment.

Requirements:

Underwrite potential acquisition targets. Conduct market research functions as necessary to support proposed underwriting (e.g., rent surveys, comparable sales, demographic information, new development pipeline, identify economic drivers, etc.). Assist with timely completion of the due diligence effort. Review all material resulting from the due diligence investigation. Generate investment packages in order to secure debt and equity for new deals. Assist with predevelopment and entitlements duties.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, real estate, or related field preferred. 3+ years of experience in real estate analysis including underwriting, market/competitive research & analysis, due diligence, investor packages and creating real estate financial models that include complex financial analysis. Advanced knowledge of Excel, and experience with PowerPoint. Attention to detail and a desire to produce the highest quality work product. Superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple complex and diversified work streams in a fast-paced environment. A flexible team player who takes initiative and is dedicated, hard-working, and has an ability to work in a collaborative environment. Ability to independently organize and prioritize workload within a fast-paced environment
