Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial VP of Strategyand Partnerships to join our team in Miami. This senior role willdrive strategic growth by developing and managing key partnershipswith banks, Payment Service Providers (PSPs), and vendors acrossNorth America, the UK, and Europe. You will play an essential partin expanding Transak’s market reach, working with product managersto launch complex, zero-to-one product lines and enter new marketsegments and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Partnerships:
Build and nurture strong relationshipswith banks, PSPs, and other key vendors to drive new partnershipsand manage existing ones effectively.
Product Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with productmanagers to identify and launch new product lines, market segments,and geographies, bringing innovative solutions to market.
Market Expansion:
Use your expertise in payments, banking, andblockchain to discover opportunities for Transak to expand itsfootprint and enhance product offerings in emerging markets.
Cost Management:
Take responsibility for the unit economics ofour product as a core performance metric, ensuring efficient andprofitable partnerships.
Corporate Development:
Leverage experience in corporatedevelopment, including buy-side acquisitions, to identify andassess growth opportunities for Transak.
Travel & Representation:
Represent Transak at industryconferences and high-level meetings across North America, the UK,and Europe, building our presence in the global fintechcommunity.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Experience in business development, partnerships,product, and/or corporate development, ideally within payments,blockchain, and/or other financial services.
Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of payments, banking,and blockchain, with a track record of launching new products andentering new markets. Knowledge and appreciation for compliance andthe “slower moving” parts of the financial ecosystem such asbanks.
Corporate Development:
Background in corporate development andbuy-side acquisitions is a strong plus.
Product Acumen:
Experience in working with product teams tobring complex products from concept to market.
Languages:
Multilingual abilities are a plus, enablingeffective communication across diverse markets.
Location:
Based in Miami, FL, with the ability to travel forconferences and meetings.
