JOB DESCRIPTION

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory. They focus on efficient inventory management, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the supervision of premises to maintain a productive and safe work environment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The list below describes general duties and responsibilities but is not limited to: Demonstrates a strong ability to prioritize tasks and relationship management. Inspects completed work to ensure it meets specifications and established standards. Ensures all safety procedures are followed. Monitor inventory levels, optimize storage, and ensure accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing shipments. Oversee the picking, packing, and shipping processes to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries to customers. Manage all warehouse functions, including receiving, storage, and distribution, ensuring resources are used efficiently. Effectively manage and coordinate logistics to support smooth and uninterrupted warehouse operations. Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe and secure warehouse environment. Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflows, meet deadlines, and ensure on-time product deliveries. Additional functions may be required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Fluent in English and Spanish. Excellent time management skills. Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities. Punctual, reliable, and dependable. Must hold a valid and active Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Must pass a pre-employment screening including Level II background check, drug test, and Motor Vehicle Report. Candidate must pass Miami Dade Aviation Department (MDAD)/Customs Border Patrol background check and meet the badging requirements. Strong ability to motivate, manage, and support a team to meet operational goals. Expertise in efficiently managing inventory, space, and workflows. Ability to communicate effectively with management, suppliers, and customers. Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to improve warehouse operations. Skilled in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software tools. Adhere to grooming standards as outlined in SFM’s Employee Handbook.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift, carry, or move heavy objects weighing up to 50lbs throughout the shift. Ability to stand, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods. The role requires compliance with OSHA safety standards and workplace policies. Comfortable working with ladders and reaching overhead for tasks. Ability to handle forklifts, pallet jacks and dock equipment. Must follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Ability to safely and efficiently drive and operate vehicles.
