ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Business Development Consultant is in charge of developing business solutions. The main goal is to generate more revenue for T Gaines Entertainment in Central Florida. The ideal hire will manage client accounts and come up with new sales ideas. This includes new sales strategies, sales pitches, and securing new partnerships within metropolitan Orlando. Secure partnership agreements, managing all negotiations, asset allocations, and deal components. Prospect and close new corporate sponsorship/media partnerships. Establish strong working relationships with local, regional, and national companies to understand individual marketing and business goals and initiatives. Own all aspects of the sales cycle, including prospecting, researching, presenting, negotiating, and finalizing the agreements. Manage clients and ensure that T Gaines Entertainment meets business development targets successfully. Generate revenue through the sale of new brand alliance relationships. Understand key buying and influencing roles within the client organization. Develop and win a pipeline of new/add-on business. Establish performance objectives (KPIs) and execute them. Identify key open categories and new industries as prospective new business leads. Develop unique and customized proposals and sales presentations for new business prospects. Negotiate and work with the T Gaines Entertainment team through execution of partnership contract. Work with the CEO of T Gaines Entertainment to ensure proper fulfillment of partnership contract. Manage client expectations throughout the sales cycle and closing process. Develop and manage the overall account plan and forecast, and provide status reports, QUALIFICATIONS
AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing or a combination of education and a minimum of 2 years of extensive and proven integrated B2B sales experience. Preferred corporate partnerships sales experience with demonstrated success in entertainment field. Two or more years of partnership sales, activation, and or business development management. Good understanding of targeted industry business environments, issues and the trends affecting marketing spend. This is a “hunter” role and qualified candidates must provide examples of their ability to generate organic revenue growth via prospecting tools and techniques. High level of personal and professional integrity with the ability to build relationships. Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and communicate with all internal and external clients, especially C-Level executives. Organized and flexible. Ability to measure and report on campaign performance. Ability to initiate, prioritize, follow through, and work independently. Must be able to work under tight deadlines and deliver outstanding work. Proven experience as a strong closer, securing new business opportunities and successfully finalizing deals.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Recent experience in entertainment booking, brand activations, or professional meeting planning. .Proven experience securing event bookings for conventions, festivals, political events, or large-scale gatherings, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue and build strategic partnerships.
