And have a lot of fun doing it! We’re looking for a Director of Events in the Orlando, FL area. This is a hybrid position. The successful candidate will live in Florida, preferably in the Orlando area. About the Job As a Director of Events at Access, you will be responsible for the strategic direction and management of the events team in the Southeast territory, ensuring that key objectives and revenue goals are met. What You’ll Be Doing Coaching & Training Event Managers to meet company standards and goals Partner with Chief Experience Officer and National Event Manager to develop and roll out company policies and procedures Training on strategy approach and partnering with clients to achieve client goals and ensure ACCESS provides consistency and exceptional services throughout the process Accountable for overall Events team performance, including meeting gross profit goals and KPI’s Management of Event Managers schedule and program assignment Review program overviews with Event Managers prior to program execution for overall program review Strategically review the business and identifying any new positions required or working with other Director of Events to utilize resources Build mutually beneficial relationships with Conference Services teams at primary and secondary hotels at Director and Manager levels Build, maintain and / or establish vendor knowledge and relationships Work with Managing Director to create synergy among all departments About Access Access is a women-owned and women-led destination management company that collaborates with clients to design and execute corporate events and programs.
