You will work closely with various departments to develop and implement marketing strategies, leverage data to make informed decisions, and contribute to the creation of new initiatives that drive growth across the organization. Additionally, you will collaborate with our zoo team to develop educational programs and enhance VIP tour experiences. This position will perform multiple functions to include but not limited to: Drive revenue growth and contribute to the success of SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment through innovative group sales strategies. Collaborate with talented teams across various departments, including marketing, operations, and education, to bring your ideas to life. You will be responsible for:
Develop and execute strategies to increase group sales across multiple parks within United Parks and Resorts. Identify and pursue large-scale group sales opportunities, including corporate events, youth groups, and other organizations. Collaborate with marketing teams to develop marketing strategies and promotional materials tailored to group sales initiatives. Utilize data analytics/Revenue Management to assess the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts, making data-driven recommendations for improvement. Assist in the planning and execution of new initiatives (Group or otherwise) which are a priority for the organization. Work closely with the zoo team to develop educational programs that enhance the group experience and promote conservation efforts. Assist with VIP tours and experiences as it relates to overarching strategy to build consideration and awareness across the company to grow sales. Liaison with sales analyst on regular reports and updates on group sales performance, including analysis of key metrics and trends Special projects and other duties as assigned.
What it takes to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field or related business disciplines Preferred by not mandatory, five-seven years of relevant business experience (financial planning, accounting, business analysis). Proven experience in sales, preferably in the hospitality or entertainment industry, with a focus on group sales. Creative thinker with a passion for developing innovative sales and marketing initiatives. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
