Primary Care Organization is seeking a Project Orion Market CMO to create and implement clinical processes and programs to ensure that Project Orion is stood up to successfully operate across 3 initial markets. This role is responsible for developing a detailed clinical, Stars, MRA and Trend strategy which aligns to the overall goals of Humana. We are seeking an individual who will bring exceptional leadership and vision, assume broad responsibility for clinical leadership across the three markets, and form key relationships with Retail operation in Stars, MRA, Trend and PCO and Retail Market teams.
The Project Orion The Market CMO serves as a health-care professional and capable of handling a variety of health-related problems. The Market CMO requires an in-depth understanding of how organization capabilities interrelate across the function or segment. This role will also work cross-functionally with corporate leaders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
As Market CMO over Project Orion market you will plan, organize, manage, and supervise health care services offered in virtual-first medical centers in three initial launch states of Florida, Texas and Mississippi. You will be responsible for hiring and providing provide medical direction in pursuit of cost effective, quality healthcare to all clinicians within Project Orion.
Plan, organize, manage, and supervise the roles of the physician leader in each of our three launch states
Identify physician recruitment needs and collaborate in the hiring and contracting of providers.
Establish work schedules and assignments for medical staff according to workload, space and equipment and center needs.
Oversee daily operations of physician services.
99% Leadership, 1% limited/occasional coverage
Build strong relationship with specialist, hospitalist, SNF and other providers to form a narrow network of quality service focused on senior population health
Responsible for medical interpretation, reviews, and decisions as required for plan administration.
Monitor medical performance and provide guidance to ensure that the quality of care being provided meets appropriate standards and to ensure cost-effective utilization practices.
Oversee the development, revision, and implementation of policies and procedures, systems, programs, and standards for health care services.
Represent the organization inmunity and marketing events.
Develop and maintainpliance with the departmental and physician budgets.
Assess, develop, and rmend strategies forpliance with regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain an effective relationship with all departments providing medical guidance and expertise.
Develop, implement, and monitor the oues of utilization review and disease management programs to meet the quality and cost expectation of.
Identify trends of over- and under-utilization and implement actions plans to improve.
Direct and orient physicians in the correct application of approved guidelines. .
Oversee the operations of the wellness activities and medical department.
Guide and enforce Perfect Service Standards (Customer Service).

Master’s Degree
Graduate of accredited MD or DO program of accredited university
8 or more years of technical experience
5 or more years of management experience
Licensure requirements of the state of jurisdiction
Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Geriatric Medicine
Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Thepensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$270,800 – $378,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based uponpany and/or individual performance.
