Lake Blackshear Resort has 10 lake cabins, 82 camp sites located on beautiful 8800-acre cypress lake with restaurant, bar, off site fitness center, conference center, marina with a lake restaurant, 18 hole-golf course designed by Denis Griffiths, fishing and more. We are managed by the Southeast’s premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Marina Interview, hire, train, discipline, schedule/approve time punches for staff and review job performances of all Marina staff Assist staff and guests when problems arise Maintain the Rental Fleet keeping it clean and in good repair Ensure that the docks are safe, clean and in good repair Ensure the staff has all the tools and supplies to complete their job successfully Possess strong hospitality skills while in direct contact with the guests and staff, while maintaining a safe and professional environment Responsible for all inventories and purchase orders within the department Maintain a safe work environment by promoting safe work practices and document any unsafe area or practices with written documentation and work orders when needed Process all invoices Responsible for operating facilities within the parameters and guidelines set in the budget Other duties as assigned Attend required meetings Create, coordinate and implement Park program activities each month and assist with events held on property.

Must demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates and vendors Can complete projects and assignments thoroughly, professionally and with care Able to adjust to high-pressure conditions and is open to change Can assume responsibility for personal growth and development Conducts him/herself (acts and dresses) professionally at all times; set standards for all associates Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively and professionally Actively listens to others Conveys company information, decisions, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis Works to resolve disagreements and is respectful of peers and co-workers Must have basic knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local health, safety and legal regulations Must have good mathematical and computer skills High school education and relevant training and experience preferred Able to timely obtain any required licenses or certificates

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Minimum lifting/pulling of 20 pounds Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity Hearing, writing, typing Standing for long periods of time Must know how to swim

EXPERIENCE

You must have at least one-year verifiable work experience, preferably as a Manager. Prior experience managing a staff. Must have valid driver license with good record.
