- Job Summary
- Identify, research and analyze potential opportunities for growth, develop strategies to address and capture specific opportunities, test and refine commendations, evaluate results, make recommendations relative to implementation.
- Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities
- + Track industry and competitive analysis, customer research, acquisition opportunities and identify the most attractive growth opportunities.
+ Analyze the financial results of initiatives versus projections through financial analysis, market conditions, and other benchmarks. + Develop proposal and presentation standards and format. Attend sales calls and customer presentations. Coordinate production/process of large proposals, RFIs and RFPs. + Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate goals. + Establishing metrics to analyze and track performance of strategic initiatives. + Provides support to upper management in deal negotiations, contract development, due diligence, and other business development or alliance development projects. + Focuses on process and operational consistency to reduce cost and improve performance.

+ Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience. May recommend/make decisions regarding new programs/initiatives that have significant impact to the business and carry consequences in unsuccessful endeavors. + Manages a larger team or multiple small teams through direction of subordinate management and/or supervisory staff.
- Work Environment
- + Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable. + Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles. + Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
- Education and Experience
- + Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Experience in leading multiple merger, acquisition, and divestiture initiatives across multiple functions + Seven to ten years of complex project management experience + Experience in a consulting environment + Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Organizational Change Management Certification + Master’s degree preferred If you’re looking to play a role in building America, consider one of our open opportunities.
