The Atlanta Community Food Bank is working to end hunger in our community with the food, people and big ideas needed so that no one worries where their next meal is coming from. Since 1979, we’ve been providing food for a growing network of nonprofit partners – including food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters and senior centers. We currently serve more than 700 partners in 29 counties across metro Atlanta and north Georgia.

Role:

The Corporate Relations Manager I is responsible for identifying, developing, securing, and managing strategic relationships with corporate funders. The candidate must be able to facilitate integrated corporate engagement, secure corporate donations and event sponsorships, lead industry-based fundraising competitions, recruit corporate Hunger Walk/Run teams Full course classic golf tournament sponsorship’s, monitor and communicate to Development Department and overall organization processes that identify and cultivate corporate donors, and research corporate donor prospects.

What You’ll Do:

Fundraising & Developing Strategic Corporate Partnerships Raise $500,000+ in new and renewed funding through the direct solicitation of corporations and businesses within a dedicated and evolving portfolio of current donors and prospects Recruit new and current corporate donors at the $5,000 level and higher Lead and execute industry-based fundraising competitions in concert with Feeding Georgia, including local steering committee recruitment and management, marketing and communications, reporting and participant recognition. Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand the model to additional industry verticals Assist in sponsorship procurement with Director and Senior Manager for the Food Bank’s major events (I.e. Hunger Walk Run, Full Course Classic, etc.) and work with Event Managers on sponsorship needs throughout the year Develop and increase funding from matching gift companies Builds and Nurtures Relationships Participate in professional organization(s) on behalf of the Food Bank to build brand awareness and cultivate new donor prospects Speak at Food Bank donor events and meetings as needed Assist with inter-departmental corporate relationship management and stewardship Support event sponsorship prospect identification Data Management and Administration Maintain timely, complete and accurate constituent and activity records in Raiser’s Edge NXT Work with Marketing, PR, and Volunteer teams to ensure proper fulfillment of corporate recognition benefits Participate in team and departmental planning and goal setting Manage the budget for assigned projects/events
