Responsibilities
Responsible for overall University account management of clients in assigned territory.
Position will be based in Atlanta or within the geographic region of assigned territory. Develop strong and positive relationships with key university administrators.
Serve as CLC primary communication conduit by communicating clients’ goals to internal CLC departments and communicating CLC initiatives and programs to clients. Oversee the development and execution of external annual plans designed to increase the sales of our client’s licensed product.
Analyze universities’ licensee base to determine trends and opportunities for growth.
Participate in renewal process with clients to successfully renew agency agreement and extend partnership term. (As partner size declines, manager responsibilities increase) Assist in planning, concepting, and execution of school specific brand promotions (complexity of programs and support resources differ based on school size, resulting in different responsibilities on manager) and broader national marketing campaigns.
Manage Coordinator on account team and communicate responsibilities, tasks, and projects (Power Division only)
Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Travel to client campuses and local areas to understand/survey key marketplaces important to the expansion of our clients’ brands. Additional travel industry events, company seminars (including overnight stays) could equate to about 25% of the time. Qualifications
Four year college degree, or equivalent work experience
Prefer at least 2 years’ experience in account management, customer service, trademark licensing, sports, and/or a marketing-related field. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and demonstrate an ability to forge long lasting relationships with diverse people/client base.
Must possess strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and the ability to project manage and multi-task.
Strong communication skills needed (listening, written, oral), including comfort level in presenting to large groups, executives, and senior administrators.
Must be comfortable in navigating data analytical systems and formulating strategies and solution ideas based on insights. Must be able to demonstrate ability to effectively to lead, manage, and motivate people. (Power Manager only)
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
