Managing Director, Transaction Advisory Services A leading global advisory firm is seeking an experienced Managing Director to join its Transaction Advisory Services practice. This role offers the opportunity to deliver unparalleled clarity to clients navigating complex governance, risk, and transparency challenges. Role Overview As a Managing Director, you will lead buy/sell-side and lender financial, tax, pension, and IT due diligence for financial and strategic buyers and lenders. You will drive business development, manage high-profile client relationships, and mentor teams to deliver exceptional results across the deal continuum. Key Responsibilities Lead financial, tax, pension, and IT due diligence for M&A transactions. Identify post-transaction management assistance opportunities. Develop and execute marketing plans to build a robust client base. Establish and maintain board and senior management-level relationships. Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients. Manage and enhance relationships with existing and potential clients. Recruit, train, and develop professional and administrative staff. Oversee project management, ensuring quality assurance and client satisfaction. Identify cross-marketing opportunities within the firm’s practice areas. Support firm objectives of profitability, professionalism, and teamwork. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or an MBA. Minimum of 12 years of experience in accounting, finance, or M&A advisory. Proven expertise in financial due diligence, purchase accounting, and advising on sale/purchase agreements or price disputes. Experience in financial due diligence for private equity or strategic buyers is preferable. Demonstrated leadership in matrixed organizations. Strong interpersonal, communication, marketing, and organizational skills. Public accounting experience and CPA designation are advantageous. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
