The Corporate Development & Real Estate Analyst is responsible for tracking and paying real estate property taxes, managing lease renewals and terminations with manager, maintaining monthly capital expense logs, and ad hoc analysis as needed. This role will work closely with the tax and accounting teams.
Duties/Responsibilities
Works directly with Corporate Development team in managing Asbury’s real estate portfolio
Maintains Asbury’s real estate database system RealtyShare
Manages property tax payments, assessments and appeals
Performs ad hoc or project analysis
Assists with maintaining the company’s property listing and identifying locations and parcels utilizing Google Earth
Assists with preparation of materials for executive, investor, and board presentations for approval projects related to M&A, capex, and real estate
Performs other related duties to benefit the mission/vision of the organization
Education & Experience
Detail oriented and ability to work as part of a team
Great attitude, oral/written communication skills and willing to learn
Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
0-3 years’ experience in financial analysis with Excel is preferred Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business is required
Automotive industry experience is a plus
