Our financial services client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team for the next 4+ months, 40 hours/week. This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) in Mississauga, ON. Role SummaryThe Senior Program Manager will lead strategic integration initiatives supporting acquisition activities in Canada. This role is responsible for overseeing cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and driving successful post-merger integration. The position plays a critical role in enabling business growth through effective planning, execution, and stakeholder collaboration.
Top Must Have Skills8-12 years of program/project management experience, including 4+ years in M&A or post-merger integrationDeep understanding of the M&A lifecycle (due diligence, integration planning, execution)Proven leadership in large-scale, cross-functional initiativesStrong financial acumen with experience in synergy modeling and value trackingExpertise in stakeholder management and change management frameworksExperience in the financial industry, particularly Wealth ManagementAdditional QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Management or related field (or equivalent experience)PMP certification preferredFamiliarity with integration tools (IMO playbooks, synergy trackers)Experience with PMO tools such as ClarityTrust and estate transaction experience is a plusResponsibilitiesLead and execute integration strategies aligned with acquisition goalsOversee multiple project teams to ensure program objectives are metCollaborate with cross-functional teams and external vendorsManage program budgets and track performance against business objectivesIdentify and mitigate risks across projectsDevelop and maintain program evaluation protocolsDeliver timely and effective communication to stakeholders and leadershipSupport the Canadian management office in delivering large-scale initiativesIn this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
