DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
Transaction Execution (Buyside/Sellside)
- Lead and support all phases of MandA transactions, including origination, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, structuring, and integration planning.
Financial Analysis and Modeling
- Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess target performance, valuation scenarios, synergy realization, and capital requirements.
Due Diligence Management
- Coordinate internal and external resources across legal, development, finance, engineering, and operations to conduct thorough due diligence on target buyside projects and manage investor due diligence processes (QandA, data room management, etc) for sellside deals.
Strategic Assessment:
Work with senior leadership to identify acquisition and divestiture opportunities aligned with the company’s growth and portfolio optimization strategy.
Market Intelligence:
Stay abreast of industry trends, deal activity, and regulatory developments in the renewable energy sector to help inform MandA strategy.
StakeholderCommunication:
Prepare presentations, investment committee memoranda, and board materials for the Strata Management Team.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in MandA, investment banking, corporate development, or private equity, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical
- Deep understanding of MandA processes, legal documentation, and structuring
- Experience in the renewable energy sector (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage) is highly
- Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional
- Self-starter with high attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
