Job Description:
Our client is seeking 1 or 2 experienced professional/s to join the Private Equity Operating Team to lead Portfolio Value Creation projects across portfolio companies. Candidates should have prior consulting background at one of the e firms: Bain, BCG, McKinsey, Kearney, Alix Partners, Accenture, Booz Allen, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, and private equity with experience managing portfolio companies. People with Investment Banking experience can be considered if they have corporate or operating experience. Ideally 3-6 years as a consultant, 4-6 years in corporate leadership or at PE/VC backed companies in C-level or Director level positions, with total work experience no less than 7 years with a graduate degree or 9-10 years with Undergrad and advanced certification, CPA/CFA. Candidates should have solid experience in consulting craft skills as well as consulting methodology. Should be experienced in engagement framework, work scoping, answer first, hypothesis driven analysis, strong PPT and writing skills, including strong project management leading skills. Candidates should have gravitas to have one on one advisory skills with CEOs, Board Members, and PE Partners. Be comfortable coaching portfolio company managers in various tasks and frameworks. This person will be involved in the following projects, so this person with relevant Value Creation experience in these areas is likely to be most successful.
- Experience with E-Commerce / Amazon playbook
- Experience with Home Health and Health Care shared services and management support
- Post acquisition playbook including 90 days plan, 180 days plan, 3 year growth plan
- Hedging risk in Supply Chain/Manufacturing, in the light of Trump Tariff. Develop playbook
- Business Growth Strategy
- GTM Strategy
- Brand Strategy and Brand Development
- Product portfolio and product development execution experience
- Business consolidation, roll-up, M&A
- Nice to have, business workout, restructuring, distressed management, reorganization
Deal Management Due Diligence:
Financial, Operational, Commercial
- Fund Management Support in Deal Screening and Deal Analysis, Investment Memo Career progression to an Operating Partner, depending on quality of experience.
Candidates should have an MBA or advanced degrees in Law (JD) or Finance or Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting. Candidates should be comfortable with financial statement analysis and should have strong financial analysis modeling skills and managerial accounting knowledge. If the person has a CPA or CFA it is a plus. Competitive compensation in Base and Annual Bonus plus equity in portfolio operating companies. Starting date as soon as a candidate has been identified and offered a position.
