Cary, NC Job Details $77,500 – $86,000 a year 12 hours ago Qualifications Microsoft PowerPoint Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel Management Marketing Microsoft Office Bachelor’s degree Senior level Business Account management Communication skills Marketing Full Job Description Under the general direction of the Senior Director of Partner Stewardship, the Director for Partner Stewardship will be responsible for setting the strategy to steward, grow and ensure the sustainability of an assigned portfolio of mission-centric and mutually beneficial corporate partnerships. These partnerships are critical to achieving the V Foundation’s goals to deliver substantial revenue that supports life-saving cancer research. The successful candidate will be goal-oriented, results-driven, creative, strategic, and collaborative team player. The Director of Partner Stewardship will leverage several built-in strengths of the organization, including positive reputational awareness, a strong board of directors, and a dedicated team. The V Foundation also enjoys productive relationships with iconic brands and critical industry and research partners, including our founding partner ESPN. The Director of Partner Stewardship will work closely with the V Foundation’s marketing and events teams to develop strategies and plans to deliver maximum value to our partners. Key Responsibilities/Activities (90%) Goals and Performance for Partner Stewardship Develop and execute strategic plans and stewardship plans for an assigned portfolio of existing corporate partnerships. Under the direction of the Senior Director of Partnership Stewardship, provide support for top tier partnerships. Coordinate with internal teams and departments to ensure partner activations and campaigns are being supported and promoted through all applicable channels. Lead the successful transition from partnership development to stewardship to ensure partnership success, strong relationship building and to maximize the potential for future growth and sustainability of the partnership. Ensure personal performance that links to the organization’s strategic and revenue growth goals. (10%) Activity Tracking, Data Integrity and Financial Reporting Monitors CRM to ensure accuracy in data/reporting, and tracks/reports progress to goals. Provide regular, accurate, and updated periodic reporting of activities and pipeline status against identified goals (including contact information, funnel / pipeline data, revenue forecasts and financial tracking, and activity data). Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, or related degree. Minimum of 5 years’ experience with partner stewardship, work in a non-profit preferred. Proactive self-starter with strong account management skills. Demonstrated track record of revenue generation. A belief in the value of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and action that demonstrates this commitment. Strong sense of initiative and an outcomes-oriented mindset. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Familiarity with Zoom, Teams, and other videoconference software platforms to conduct meetings. Demonstrated track record of delivering business revenue from a variety of industries. Working knowledge of CRM to utilize moves management for reporting accuracy and accountability. An understanding of cause marketing’s role in generating brand awareness and revenue, as well as the ability to coordinate with the efforts of cross-functional teams and partners.
