Job DescriptionJob Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Alliance Management Lead for building and maintaining strategic partnerships between Dr.

Reddy’s and external organizations including CMOs, CPOs, consultants and other third parties. The role involves identifying potential alliance opportunities, negotiating terms, and managing the ongoing relationship to ensure mutual benefit. This includes coordinating joint partnership initiatives, aligning goals, and resolving issues that may arise between the partners. Incumbent will also track the performance of the alliance, facilitate communication, and ensure the partnership aligns with organization’s broader strategic objectives. The Lead will act as the key point of contact between the organizations. This role would require program management, strategic and systemic thinking, and strong negotiation skills to ensure successful collaboration and achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborating with the network of partners and establishing relationships with key stakeholders
  • Apply analytical and strategic thinking to drive project success and optimize alliance performance. Develop and communicate governance structures for alliances
Negotiating Agreements:

Leading the negotiation of terms, conditions, and deliverables to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships. Ensure key terms such as pricing, milestone payments, project timelines and deliverables are appropriately addressed

  • Managing and cultivating long-term, productive relationships with partners by maintaining regular communication, understanding their needs, and resolving issues
  • Overseeing the execution of joint projects, campaigns, or initiatives to ensure both companies’ interests are met. Identifying potential issues and implementing resolutions to mitigate risks
Performance Tracking:

Monitoring the progress of partnerships and alliances, evaluating their success, and providing regular reports to senior management

  • Working closely with internal teams (such as sales, marketing, Finance, Legal) to ensure the partnership is integrated into the company’s operations
  • Market and Competitive Analysis – Keeping an eye on the market and industry trends to spot new opportunities for alliances or potential threats to existing partnerships
  • Ensuring compliance with the terms of partnership agreements and managing any legal or contractual matters
  • Monitor the progress on project / partnership milestones and ensure they align with project needs QualificationsEducational qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field.
Advanced degree preferredMinimum work experience:

8-10 years of experience in alliance management, project management, or a related role within the pharmaceutical industrySkills & attributes:

  • Ability to maintain and strengthen partner relationships
  • Business acumen – Strong understanding of Pharma business processes and operations
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills while maintaining collaborative relationship
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects / priorities and stakeholders
  • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Familiarity with contract and agreement processing and review
  • Must be a U.

S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of U.S. or otherwise authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
