Yorktel is currently seeking a Strategic Partners Manager which is a critical position that provides operational support to ensure the efficient functioning of the Yorktel Strategic Alliances team. The Strategic Partners Manager will work closely with internal teams and external partners to facilitate communication, manage documentation, and support key initiatives. This position will ensure the Strategic Alliances team is working closely with sales and business operations to drive strategic alliance opportunities to closure.

This position will possess both a technical and business background that enables them to engage at the mid level of a company and a channel management background that will help develop the Yorktel ecosystem.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Work with Yorktel Sales, corporate staff and partners directly to ensure that our partner portal is equipped with the right content to enable partner team members to be trained and informed and successful at delivering our value proposition.

Creating QBR content for vendors that are strategic and developingCreating demand and execution on win wires and capture field work from repsManage the registration for all partner deals within territories.

Manage, administer, deliver and/or create certification training for partner sales, front-line support and partner systems engineers.

Responsible for making sure reporting into Dynamics CRM is accurate and updated in a timely manner.

Collaborate with Yorktel and partner marketing to manage an MDF process including resources & logistics to ensure success for partner related demand generation activity.

Support all lead generation campaigns.

Skills and Abilities:

Knowledge of and adherence to York Telecom policies and procedures.

Must be comfortable managing relationships with mid level contacts.

Excellent ability to successfully interface with clients and handle multiple priorities concurrently.

Dedication and commitment to get the job done.

Able to work in a fast-paced, continuously evolving environment.

Self-motivated and ability to work independently.

Knowledge of sales and marketing concepts.

High capacity to learn and adapt.

May require occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs)Requires extensive sitting, standing and walkingLimited weekend and/or night work may be requiredDomestic travel requiring multi-night stays within and at times outside the local work areaInternational travel may be requiredValid U.S. driver’s license is a requirement and must have a positive driver’s abstract.

Current valid U.S. Passport is desirable.

Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contractsMust be willing to apply for security clearances, suitability, and other related clearances to be able to work at certain customer locations

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or relevant experience.

Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Sales and Marketing.

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting/standing.

Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs.

Additional Requirements:

Proficiency in the use of computers and general business software (Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Project).
