This role will be the lead creative, driving the olfactive and base strategy within the Brand. This person will be the product and fragrance expert and trusted advisor with a proactive ability to identify white space opportunities and recommend future strategies for our fragrance portfolio. Your Impact Product and Fragrance Development Lead Strong olfactive skills Able to gain and maintain strong relationships with key leaders and cross functional teams Able to provide point of view on fragrance ideas, concepts and visionary storytelling in key meetings with strong olfactive language and knowledge of competitive market references, trends and top NPD fragrances. Gain strategic alignment with other creative teams and merchant team on olfactive vision Responsible for creative development from ideation through approval Brief fragrance houses and contract fillers on new projects, manage seasonal presentations, and work with team to identify top fragrance submissions. Provide clear and concise feedback to vendors on fragrance ideas and new base development Work with overall creative team (Design/Copy) to ensure olfactive vision is translated into projection, callout note story and overall creative concept on digital Partner with technical teams to ensure product integrity (stability, compatibility, regulatory requirements are met) Develop clinical testing criteria for claims substantiation, as needed Troubleshoot development challenges, find resolution through collaboration, elevate as needed. Responsible for the maintenance of all critical information for projects, inclusive of all development detail. Identify new base ideas (scrubs, oils, creams, etc.), to support storytelling within the Fine Fragrance portfolio and work to create innovation pipeline Visit labs/base suppliers as needed to work on site and identify new ideas to support the Brand. Work with base vendors and cross functional teams throughout the development lifecycle to oversee any issues that arise and ensure on time milestones. Oversee CMI testing of products/fragrances, including focus groups and in-store tests, and provide analysis and recommendations to influence decisions and maximize success of new launches and product re-stages. Provide support for store education fragrance training modules as well as for upcoming new launches and restages Know the customer. Know the store environment. Know the competitive landscape. Minimum Salary:

$126,700.00

Maximum Salary:

$172,935.00 VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Min 5-10 years of experience in fragrance industry Creative thinker with acute business acumen Strong leadership and managerial skills, with proven track record Positive team player Strong multi-tasker that is able to work quickly and under tight timelines Computer skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Knowledge in quantitative/qualitative consumer testing We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest records, conviction records, or other criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of any applicable state and local laws.
