Job Description
Perform analysis of methods of financing, structure of a potential transaction, formulation of plans and models to consummate mergers and acquisitions, in accordance with the rules and procedures of various domestic and international institutions and US laws and regulations. Execute buy-side and sell-side M&A and capital markets transactions (cross-border and domestic, public and private, friendly and hostile) and provide general corporate advice to clients. Execute the creation of company-specific financial analysis and models, including valuation and statistical analysis and consequences of options a company may be considering. Analyze valuation models including comparable company analysis. Develop written materials such as client presentations, offering memorandums, proposals, engagement letters, term sheets and legal agreements utilizing Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Perform financial analysis, due diligence and valuation. Conduct industry and product research. Prepare marketing and new business development presentations. Interface with Jefferies’ sector teams to identify and develop business opportunities.
Requirements:
Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role• ORBachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the position offered or in a related role•All of the required experience must have included experience with: creating, performing, and reviewing complex financial valuation analyses in support of due diligence activities; executing sell-side and buy-side transactions, both cross-border and domestic; executing M&A transactions for public and private companies; preparing client presentations and pitches utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; building complex financial models; and analyzing corporate and financial information of companies. •FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses required.
