POSITION SUMMARY
Stakeholders VR is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst to help drive our expansion in the vacation rental industry. This is a 90 day contract position with potential to convert to full time. This role is ideal for someone with a solid finance or accounting background who excels at gathering, consolidating, and analyzing due diligence materials from potential acquisition candidates. You’ll be responsible for maintaining well-organized documentation, producing clear and insightful reports, and communicating findings to management. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple projects independently, and a talent for spotting trends and opportunities. You’ll work closely with both internal teams and external acquisition candidates—building strong relationships with acquisition targets while coordinating across departments to ensure a seamless, strategic acquisition process from start to finish. Please note this role is Remote but does require travel.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Gather, consolidate, and analyze requested due diligence information from potential acquisition targets Travel to acquisition targets’ offices as needed to help them gather the required due diligence materials quickly Assist acquisition candidates with pulling data from Property Management Systems / Accounting Systems Maintain organized documentation and provide detailed reports to management. Collaborate with internal teams across finance, operations, and leadership to align acquisition efforts and ensure a smooth transition. Identify operational risks and financial red flags by reviewing historical performance data and market trends. Track and manage deadlines throughout the due diligence process to ensure timely execution. Support integration planning by summarizing key operational insights and recommending transition strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, or Business 3+ years experience in Accounting, Finance, or M&A Knowledge of the vacation rental industry and regulations Excellent communication and reporting abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently Prior experience in due diligence, compliance, or vacation rental operations Ability to interpret local and international rental laws Travel will be required
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Monthly Compensation:
$8,000 – $12,000/month, based on experience
Schedule:
This is a 90 day contract position with potential to convert to full time.
