Marina Service Manager 3.1 3.1 out of 5 stars Cleverdale, NY 12820 Overview The Marina Service Manager is responsible for delivering top-tier customer service while embodying professionalism and courtesy. This role serves as the primary contact for many service customers, both in person and over the phone. The Marina Service Manager is also responsible for creating written estimates for service work and parts, while acting as a liaison between customers, manufacturer representatives, and service technicians. Additionally, the Marina Service Manager will oversee the service team and daily operations at the Marina. Duties and Responsibilities Manage daily operations of the Marina’s service department Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments Must be outgoing and friendly with great communication and customer service skills Initiate work orders and maintain control until closed and invoiced Must be customer service, yet goal-oriented, maintaining a sales-focused approach in an effort to increase service revenue Handles Repair Order charges Maintains the service library with up-to-date information Handles Marina service department filing and records Manages and updates customer profiles by utilizing data from work orders, including equipment used, service hours, and other pertinent details Collaborate with the location Supervisor and Service Director in planning meetings to guarantee that all work is scheduled and prepared. Close weekly non billable internal work orders Verifies that the OpCodes reflect the work performed and that the tech notes are complete Ensure proper boat maintenance by staying informed on maintenance requirements and providing customers with appropriate recommendations Completes other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Manager Qualifications A Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or relevant field Professional appearance and positive attitude to all customers Ability to communicate at a high level, both verbally and in writing Organizational and computer skills are required for the position Be team-oriented, self-motivated, and process driven Customer service or sales-related background preferable Have a valid state driver’s license Ability to operate all equipment sold by the dealership Compensation A salary starting at $70,000 a year Health Insurance, Dental and Vision insurance Simple IRA with 3% Match up to the Max Contribution PTO, Sick Time, and Personal Days, Outline in Benefits Document Paid Holidays Mileage reimbursement when driving between locations as needed Schedule Monday
